Consignment
Last updated: 9/28/2026
Visible if you operate consigned stock with your customer and the feature is enabled for your organization.
In Consignment you see the periodic settlements your customer publishes: how much was consumed during the period, how much it's worth restocking and how much should be invoiced. It applies if you keep consigned stock in their warehouses, that is, goods that remain yours until your customer consumes them.
How to work with this
When your customer publishes a period, the system notifies you and you can review your lines and the detail of what was delivered.
Schedule the restocking of whatever is missing.
Invoice the consumption according to what was settled.
If there's any discrepancy, check with your customer before invoicing.
It's a tailored setup; you coordinate the details with your customer and the Sourced team.
How to read your settlement
At the top of every published period you see the total to invoice per currency and how many items make it up. The Settlement tab shows the items to invoice by default, from the largest amount down; All brings the rest and the search box finds an item by code, your P/N or description.
Each row reads as a sum: At previous closing (what was in your customer's warehouse) + Delivered (your receipts in the period) − Left (your stock still in their warehouse) = To invoice (what was consumed), times the unit price, gives the total. The first settlement for an item has no previous closing. If the math does not match what the settlement asks you to invoice, the item shows The math does not add up: usually a delivery note posted after the cut-off, worth clarifying before invoicing.
The full settlement, with every column, downloads with Download Excel.
Your part number (P/N)
If your parts have their own code, different from the customer's material code, the customer can store it in their master and it shows in the Supplier P/N column of your settlement and in the Excel you download. It is informational: the settlement is calculated by the customer's material code. If a part number is missing or wrong, ask the customer to fix it; you do not edit it from the portal.
Your delivery notes for the period
The Receipts tab lists, delivery note by delivery note, what your customer recorded as delivered in the period: material, your P/N, delivery note number, posting date, quantity and ERP document. In the settlement, tapping an item's + Delivered number shows its delivery notes without changing tabs. Use it to check your deliveries; it also downloads to Excel.
Review the settlement and confirm dispatches
Every published settlement expects your review, and you review it on the settlement itself. Until you send it, the period shows the notice Your customer is waiting for your review.
- Check what you have to invoice. The total to invoice is at the top. The Settlement tab shows only the items to invoice by default, sorted by amount; All brings the rest. The columns read as the math: at previous closing + delivered − left = to invoice, times the unit price. Tap what was delivered to see your delivery notes. If the math does not add up, the item flags it. With many items, download the Excel and reconcile it with your system.
- Flag what does not match. Everything shows as In order. In the Your review column, choose There is a difference and explain it; the shortcuts A delivery note is missing, The stock is not that and The price is not the agreed one start the text.
- Send your review. The bar at the bottom sums up, in money, what is in order and what has differences. Press Send review; if you change something later, Send changes.
- Confirm your dispatches. The Dispatches tab lists the items below the agreed stock. Enter how much you will ship and when and press Confirm; you can update it anytime.
If you do not send it, a reminder arrives after 24 hours and the last one after 48. A difference does not modify the settlement: your customer checks it against their system and it shows up in the next closing; if in doubt, talk to your customer before invoicing.
